PET is considered the optimum material for packaging. PET offers a unique combination of gloss, transparency, durability and impact resistance. It has also good barrier properties and it can be used at temperatures between -25°C to +65°C.
PET stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate, a plastic resin and a strong but lightweighted form of clear polyester. Polyethylene Terephthalate is a polymer that results from combining twe monomers : MEG and PTA ( Terephthalic Acid ). Underlying this are two oil based raw materials : Ethylene and Paraxylene.
As a polymer, the molecules of PET consists of long chains of repeating units which contain only Carbon, Oxygen and Hydrogen.

- Fully recycable;
- Life Cycle Analysis shows excellent comparisson with other materials.
